Police say Eggleston was operating a boat on Flaming Gorge near Cedar Springs Marina about 1:30 p.m. Saturday when he made a left turn and he and two friends went into the water. No one was wearing a life vest, according to a police affidavit.One of the passengers drowned. His name had not been released as of Tuesday. The affidavit says another boat brought the man's body back to shore.Eggleston was booked into the Uintah County Jail by Daggett County deputies because of a contract the two counties have with each other following the closure of the Daggett County Jail.Eggleston has a history of intoxication and drug or alcohol related offenses, according to court records.
