Its advisable to not enable any mods (I don't even download them) until you leave the vault (I keep a Vanilla save to make restarts quicker).Some mods need installing before game start, these are usually only character creation, otherwise only install mods one at a time. I wont install any building mods until I've got Sanctuary workshop open for instance.If you have a problem starting a new Vanilla game, delete the game (remove any saves you wish to keep to USB etc.). Rebuild your database and then do a Vanilla install.There is a link in my Signature to the LO and assistance thread. I just Installed FO4, no mods, new game = infinite loadscreen, getting the funny feeling that bethesda will never again see a penny of my moneySounds like the 'language bug'. Make sure you game is set to English, then go to your Fallout game folder, then into the Video folder. Make sure the following files do NOT look anything but this:Intro.bk2EndgameFEMALEA.bk2EndgameFEMALEB.bk2EndgameMALEA.bk2EndgameMALEB.bk2Etc.Look for anything before/after the names that don't fit (make backup of any file before changing the name).Example, if 'Intro.bk2' has any thing added to it, English version will not play and 'hangs' in perma-loading when the actual intro should play.Edited by Okogawa, 25 August 2016 - 06:39 PM. I deleted it, but it doesn't help. What can I do to solve it?
Sorry for reviving dead thread. My new game used to work, don't know why it isn't now.
